Oh, gawds, I just got back from seeing PotC:Dead Man's Chest and I loved it.
Gawds, I can't wait for the next film!
It was like the first movie only more so. With plenty of action and humor which pulled me along until the end, but then I was like, "wait a minute! It's over?"
This is aparently the first part of a two part movie. I new that they had made a third movie simultaneously, but not that they directly connected.
On to the review. Basically, Will & Elizabeth's nuptials are halted by a jerk(I can't remember his name) from the East Indies Co. Who arrests Will and Elizabeth for aiding in Jack's escape. The jerk then sends Will after Jack to retrieve Jack's compass which points the way to "that which you desire most." The jerk want's the dead man's chest, which will give power over Davey Jones. Jack apparently owes Davey big and Davey is out to collect.
Davey's Seamen are creepy, Jack is as glib as ever, Will proves what a brave and clever boy he is, and Elizabeth proves once again a woman's work is never done.
I found the ending to be a bit of a surprise and there was cute scene at the end of the credits--all twenty minutes of them.
